Nick Quain

Nick Quain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business development. As the Vice President of Venture & Entrepreneurship at Invest Ottawa since December 2017, Nick leads programming and support for start-ups and growth companies while fostering the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. With a strong entrepreneurial background as Co-founder, President, and CEO of CellWand Communications, Nick played a pivotal role in developing award-winning mobile services and guiding the company to profitability. Additional contributions include serving as a board member at CellWand Communications, co-owning Quain Brothers, and being a founding member of TEC Canada to support business leaders' growth. Nick has also held advisory and teaching positions at various organizations and institutions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous education and mentorship. Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
