Gene K. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gene began their career in 1985 as a Registered Representative at Prudential Financial, where they worked until 1989. Gene then moved on to become the Chairman at Employee Resource Management from 1990 to 1997. In 1999, they became the Managing Partner at Tilly Island, LLC and the Managing Member at Wateree River, LLC until 2005. From 2005 to 2009, Gene worked as the Managing Member at Sequence Investment Partners, LLC. In 2013, they joined Sequence Real Estate, LLC as the Broker in Charge. In 2014, Gene became the Senior Managing Director at Sequence Holdings, LLC. Since 2017, they have been a Managing Director at InvestAmerica. Currently, Gene holds the position of Managing Director of Investment Banking at Sequence Financial Specialists LLC, which they started in 2023. Throughout their career, Gene has gained experience in investment banking, real estate, and business development.
Gene K. completed their High School Completion at St. Andrew's - Sewanee, TN in 1973. Gene then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration at The Citadel from 1973 to 1975. In addition, Gene obtained a FINRA Securities License from FINRA in 2012 and is currently certified as the SCLLR Broker In Charge by Sequence Real Estate LLC.
