Sun Choi

Sun Choi is a founding partner at 2080 Ventures since March 2022 and serves as an investor in multiple unicorn companies, including SpaceX and Cerebras Systems. Sun Choi has held various investment roles in companies such as Bamboo, Monet - Salario al Instante, Bankingly, and Plato, all starting between November 2021 and February 2022. Previously, Sun Choi co-founded and served as CFO of Yellow Turtle Coffee Co., a social venture aimed at improving the Filipino coffee industry, from August 2019 to December 2023. In addition, Sun Choi was the Director of Business Development at Esperance Private Equity from January 2020 to September 2023 and served as Managing Director for Asia at Mind the Bridge from May 2019 to June 2023. Educationally, Sun Choi holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and an MBA from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor’s in International Management from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University.
