Darren Behrendt

Darren Behrendt is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in investment management and financial products. As CEO of Investec Life and Head of Investec My Investments since June 2007, Darren has been instrumental in launching Investec Life, which offers innovative risk and investment products with a client-centric approach. Within Investec Bank, Darren oversees the specialist investment platform, providing various private and structured asset investment opportunities. Additionally, Darren co-founded and leads Longaevitas Capital and Longaevitas Ventures, focusing on multi-asset absolute return strategies and advisory services in the financial sector. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics, a Master of Commerce in Financial Economics, and completion of the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
