Elton Masia

Elton Masia is an accomplished Investment Banking Executive with nearly two decades of experience in banking and finance. Currently serving at Investec as an EXCO member, Elton is part of the leadership team for the Investment Banking business, focusing on Corporate Finance, ECM, and Leverage Finance, while also managing Private Equity investments and serving on the boards of various companies. Previously, Elton held significant roles at UBS as an Executive Director, leading numerous transactions in multiple countries and sectors, and at Credit Suisse as a Vice President, where efforts focused on building the investment banking franchise in South Africa. At HSBC, Elton specialized as a Senior Vice President in M&A, while experience at Standard Bank South Africa involved managing BEE and leveraged finance transactions. Elton holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria.
