Lauren Hutchinson

Lauren Hutchinson possesses extensive experience in technology risk management and consultancy within the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Global Technology Risk professional at Investec since May 2021, Lauren collaborates with Technology Leadership teams to oversee risk management across digital channels in South Africa and the UK. Prior experience includes a managerial role at PwC in the Trust & Risk department, where responsibilities encompassed managing external audits and delivering control reports for global banking and wealth management clients. Earlier positions include roles as a Senior Consultant at EY, L&D Programme Manager at the Institute of Directors, and a brief internship at Accenture. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, completed in 2015, and attended Putney High School from 2005 to 2012.
