Michael Karlsson-Greenhill

Michael Karlsson-Greenhill has held various roles throughout their work experience. Michael started their career at PKR.com as a Finance Intern in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the President of the Exeter University Politics, Philosophy, and Economics Society. In 2014, they joined the Bank of England as an Analyst until 2015. Michael then had a brief summer internship as an Equity Research Summer Analyst at Brown Advisory in 2015. Michael joined Alpha FMC in 2016 and worked there as an Analyst until 2018. Michael then progressed to the position of Consultant from 2018 to 2020 before becoming the Manager of Asset & Wealth Management Consulting - UK from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working at Investec, where they started as the Strategic Initiatives & Innovation Lead from 2022 to 2023 before being promoted to Head of Strategy & Operations - Portfolio Management in 2023.

Michael Karlsson-Greenhill has a Bachelor of Arts degree in PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics) with Industrial Experience from the University of Exeter, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Michael also holds an IB Diploma from Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended the Royal Grammar School from 2005 to 2008. In terms of certifications, Michael obtained the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA Institute in 2016. Michael also received the Exeter Award from the University of Exeter the same year. Additionally, they obtained the P3O® Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2014. Michael has also been recognized for their academic excellence at the University of Exeter, receiving a commendation for it.
