Cecil Rosner is a seasoned journalist and educator, currently serving as the Managing Editor at the Investigative Journalism Foundation since December 2023. With a long-standing affiliation with the University of Winnipeg since 2005, Cecil teaches a course on Investigative Journalism in the Department of Rhetoric, Writing, and Communications. Prior experience includes working as a Chess Columnist for The Globe and Mail from November 2021 to December 2023, and holding multiple senior roles at CBC from November 2004 to June 2021, including Executive Producer for CBC News: The Fifth Estate and Managing Editor for CBC Manitoba. Cecil's educational background includes degrees from the University of Manitoba and Western University.
