Margaret Shandling

Margaret Shandling is an experienced journalist and editor with a robust background in editorial roles and photojournalism. Currently serving as an Editorial Assistant at Investigative Reporters and Editors since August 2020, Margaret has also established a freelance career in journalism and photojournalism since June 2016. Previous positions include Executive Director at Highwood Chamber Of Commerce and Contributing Editor at Southside Weekly, alongside a reporting fellowship at City Bureau. As Editor in Chief at The Moody Standard, Margaret led a 15-person team in newspaper production. Margaret holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Moody Bible Institute.
