Nikesh Desai

Nikesh Desai has a long and varied work experience. Nikesh began their career in 1997 as an Analyst at Robertson Stephens, where they performed financial evaluations, presented to various boards of directors, lead prospectus drafting sessions and conducted company financial due diligence with an emphasis on the software industry. In 2000, they moved to PeoplePC as Business Development, where they were involved with all sales, strategic partnerships and acquisition activities, including prospecting, development, negotiation and closure. In 2003, they joined TheStreet.com as Vice President of Business Development, where they were responsible for strategic partnerships involving content licensing, online advertising and product distribution to increase advertising sales, brand awareness, membership, product revenue and site traffic. In 2006, they became a Partner at Giant Step Strategies, LLC. Finally, in 2008, they co-founded InvestingChannel, Inc., a financial media platform which allows advertisers to target a highly coveted demographic more efficiently, publishers to monetize content and reach their audience more effectively and consumers to find relevant content more easily.

Nikesh Desai attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology.
