Annette Robertson

Annette Robertson is an accomplished communication professional currently serving as Director of Investment & Executive Communications at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since December 2019. In this role, Annette is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the investment communications program and advising the CEO and CIO on executive communications. Prior to this, Annette held the position of Senior Manager of Investment Communications at IMCO, where the focus was on developing external communication strategies. Annette's experience also includes roles at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where oversight of communications to over 300,000 teachers was key, and as Press Secretary for Canada's Finance Minister, managing media relations on critical finance issues. Additionally, Annette worked as a Consultant at Maverick Public Relations, providing strategic media relations counsel. Annette's educational background includes certificates from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
