Craig started their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG in 1994.
In 1998, they joined Newcourt Capital as an Associate and later moved to GE Capital as an Account Manager in 1999.
From 2001 to 2011, they worked as a Principal at McKenna Gale Capital, a private equity firm.
Craig then joined Manulife Capital in 2011 as a Managing Director, where they provided long-term growth capital for private companies until 2020.
Currently, they are the Senior Managing Director and Head of Private Equity and Global Credit at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since 2020.
Craig Ferguson attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance & Accounting. Craig later became a CFA Charterholder through the CFA Institute and Toronto CFA Society. Ferguson also obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
