Danny Luk

Danny Luk, CFA, FRM has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as a Financial Analyst (Internship) at RBC Capital Markets. Danny then worked as a Research Associate at Veritas Investment Research from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they held various roles, including Senior Investment Services Specialist - Risk Analytics and Manager, Data Analysis - Data Management. In 2017, Danny joined OPB (Ontario Pension Board) as a Manager, Data Management and Investment Reporting for a brief period before transitioning to their current role at Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO). At IMCO, they have held the positions of Manager, Data Management and Investment Reporting, Senior Manager, Data Management and Investment Reporting, and currently serves as the Director, Data Management. Overall, Danny has developed expertise in data management, investment reporting, risk analytics, and financial analysis throughout their career.

Danny Luk, CFA, FRM completed their education from 2002 to 2007, earning a BMATH degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a BBA degree in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. Danny also holds additional certifications, including the Financial Risk Manager designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Danny Luk is a Chartered Financial Analyst, certified by the CFA Institute.
