David Bezic

David Bezic has extensive experience in the investment management industry. David is currently the Director of Investment Research at Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they served as a Principal in the Portfolio Construction Group from January 2017 to May 2019, and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Strategist from December 2009 to January 2017. Before joining Ontario Teachers', David worked at RBC Capital Markets as an Associate in the Institutional Equity Portfolio Strategy team from June 2007 to November 2009, and at CIBC World Markets as an Economist from June 2006 to June 2007.

David Bezic holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University, which they earned from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from Queen's University from 1995 to 1996. David also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from McMaster University, which they completed from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
