David K. Lee

David K. Lee, CFA has extensive experience in private equity and investment management. David is currently working as a Senior Principal in Private Equity at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since September 2020. Before joining IMCO, David held various roles at Manulife Capital, including Director of Private Equity & Credit from April 2015 to August 2020, and Associate Director from October 2011 to March 2015. Prior to their role at Manulife Capital, David worked as a Senior Associate at Regional Power Inc., a Manulife Capital portfolio company, from April 2008 to October 2011. At Regional Power Inc., they were involved in raising equity investments and securing project finance loans for renewable power assets, as well as managing the corporate budget.

David K. Lee, CFA has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Honours Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. David later pursued an MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Additionally, they hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
