Kate Lam

Kate Lam is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on capital markets operations and investment management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Capital Markets, Alternative Investments, Treasury, Pooled Funds, and Recordkeeping at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario since November 2020, Kate leads operational strategies and oversees multiple functional teams to ensure efficiency and a superior client experience. Prior to this role, Kate worked at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in various positions ranging from Manager of Capital Markets Operations to Financial Analyst, where responsibilities included asset servicing activities, financial reporting oversight, and team management. Kate holds an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and has completed additional coursework at Yale School of Management and WCM. An Honors Bachelor in Economics was earned from York University, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in the investment sector.
