Neil Murphy

Neil Murphy has a wide range of experience in corporate communications and public relations. Neil has held key roles in various organizations, including the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) where they served as Vice President, Corporate Communications. In this role, they led IMCO's global communication strategy, provided strategic direction for communications, and oversaw the organization's public and investor relations efforts. Prior to IMCO, Neil was the Director of Corporate and Member Communications at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they developed a comprehensive communications framework and led the organization's public affairs strategy. Neil also has experience in managing a PR firm and working in corporate communications at Indigo Books and Music Inc. and Cadillac Fairview. Earlier in their career, Neil held positions at Aditya Birla Minacs and Eddie Bauer. Throughout their career, Neil has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Neil Murphy attended St. Francis Xavier University from 1990 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Honours). Neil then pursued a Master’s Diploma in Journalism at Concordia University from 1994 to 1995. In 2012, Neil completed the Executive Development Program at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
