Sean Walters, CAE

Sean Walters, CAE, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investments & Wealth Institute, a position held since October 2017, where Sean oversees an organization dedicated to excellence and ethics in financial advisory and investment management for members across 39 countries. Walters has also held the CEO role at the Institute since June 2007, collaborating with a volunteer Board of Directors and leading a team of 40 professionals to achieve strategic goals. Prior to this, Walters was the Managing Director at the Financial Planning Association from 1997 to 2007 and the Assistant Executive Director at Alpha Kappa Lambda National Headquarters from 1992 to 1997. Walters holds a BA in History from the University of Arizona and an Executive MBA from the University of Indianapolis.
