Magdalena Gerger

Magdalena Gerger is the current Director at Investor. Magdalena has also previously worked as the CEO & President at Systembolaget AB from May 2009 to February 2022. During their time at Systembolaget, they were responsible for retail-chain selling alcoholic beverages in 445 stores, 480 agents and on-line operation with home delivery throughout Sweden’s 290 districts. Magdalena also oversaw 6000 employees and a turnover of 38 billion SEK, making it a top 25 company in Sweden turn-over size and one of the world largest beer, liquor retailers and wine buyers - offering 20,000 products.

Before Systembolaget, Gerger worked at Kungl. Ingenjörsvetenskapsakademien, IVA from May 2019 to May 2021 as a Styrelseledamot. In this role, they were Ordföranden Remuneration Committee.

Gerger has also worked at Peab and Nefab as well as VW Group.

Magdalena Gerger has a BPSE in Leadership from IMD, an MBA and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Internationell ekonomi & Internationell Marknadsföring from Stockholm School of Economics, a Naturvetensakplig linje from Sundstagymnasiet in Karlstad, a Grundskolan - 9an from Östbergsskolan in Fröson, and an Executive Breakthrough in Leadership & Business from Egon Zehnder. Magdalena also has certification from the Stockholm Resilience Centre in Executive Resilience, Styreinformasjon As in Women's Board Award, Ruter Dam Chefsutveckling AB in Årets Ruter Dam, and the British Marketing Society in British Marketing Soceity.
