Denton Lillie, CPA, CGA

Denton Lillie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) with a diverse range of work experience. Denton is currently working at InvestorCOM Inc. since September 2022, where they hold the position of Senior Controller. Prior to this, Denton worked at the same company as Controller from September 2021 to September 2022 and as a Senior Accountant from March 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining InvestorCOM Inc., Denton had a long tenure at Henry Salomons, CPA Professional Corporation from October 2012 to March 2019. During their time there, they served as a Senior Staff Accountant and also held the role of Office Manager.

In earlier years, Denton held roles as an Intermediate Accountant at PV Labs Inc., Trivaris Ltd, and Pictorvision from October 2009 to September 2012.

Denton began their accounting career at Henry Salomons B.A., C.A. / Sure-Shot Business Services Inc. as a Staff Accountant, where they worked from November 2008 to September 2009.

Denton Lillie, CPA, CGA, completed their education at Brock University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an Honours B.Acc. degree in Accounting. Denton later pursued further certifications, including a CPA designation from CPA Ontario and a CGA designation from the Certified General Accountants of Ontario. In 2020, Denton obtained a Certificate in Master Controllership from CPA Ontario. Additionally, they have also obtained certification as an ISO 9001:2008 Internal Quality Systems Auditor from BSI.
