Courtney Ellington

Courtney Ellington, CPA, currently serves as the Financial Reporting Manager at Investors Heritage since October 2023. Prior to this role, Courtney worked as a Senior Accounting Analyst at Talaris Therapeutics from August 2022 to October 2023 and held positions at MCM CPAs & Advisors, progressing from Assurance Associate to Senior Assurance Associate between July 2019 and August 2022. Additional experience includes an Accounting/Finance internship at LG&E and KU Energy LLC from August 2018 to May 2019, and an Accounting internship at Beam Suntory from September 2017 to July 2018. Courtney began an academic career at the University of Louisville, where a Bachelor's degree in Accounting was earned in 2019, supplemented by a Minor in Computer Information Systems. Early in the academic journey, Courtney served as a Community Hall Assistant at the University of Louisville from August 2015 to April 2016.
