Founded in 2015 by the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira , InvestPorto aims to contribute to a more dynamic , innovative and competitive environment, make Porto recognized as a Portuguese city with a favorable business environment  for investment attraction, which values the economic development of the city and the attraction of talent.
As a part of City Councillor for Economy, Employment and Enterpreneurship and led by the City Councilor Ricardo Valente, it articulates its activity with all relevant departments of the Municipality, as well as a wide range of external, public and private, national and international organizations.
