André-Philippe Chenail

André-Philippe Chenail has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. André-Philippe is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Forum des gens d'Affaires Québec-Japon since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Investissement Québec as a Senior Project Director and Project Director for Foreign Direct Investment in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions from August 2020 to present. From November 2019 to August 2020, they held the position of Vice President International Operations at Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. André-Philippe also worked as a Candidate for the Green Party of Canada in September and October 2019. Furthermore, they served as the Quebec Chapter Director at the Canada China Business Council from December 2016 to September 2019 and as the Quebec Chapter Manager from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they had teaching experience as a High-School Teacher at Collège Charle-Lemoyne, teaching subjects such as Contemporary World, Investments, History, and general History.

André-Philippe Chenail holds a Bachelor's degree in High School/Secondary Diploma Programs from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a College diploma in Humanities and political studies from Collège Maisonneuve from 2004 to 2006. André-Philippe has also obtained additional certifications, including a Certificate of Excellence in FDI and Investment Promotion (CEFDI) from the Wavteq Institute in 2021, and completed courses in Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from MITx on edX in 2018. In 2011, André-Philippe obtained HSK 4 certification in Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
