David Bahan

Mr. David Bahan is Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation since October 19, 2018.

He began his career at the Quebec Institute of Statistics as an economist. He then joined the Department of Finance a decade or so ago. He has held various positions including Director General, Personal Policy and Director General, Economic Policy. He was appointed Assistant Deputy Minister in 2013.

Mr. Bahan is a graduate of the University of Montréal where he completed a master's degree in economics in 1999.
