Mathieu Dumont

Mathieu Dumont is an experienced finance and economic development professional currently serving as Directeur des services économiques at the Délégation générale du Québec à Tokyo since March 2021, representing the government of Quebec in Japan. Previously, Mathieu worked as a specialized advisor for Asia-Pacific and Oceania at Investissement Québec, focusing on the international growth of Quebec-based companies. Prior experiences include serving as CFO at Saimen, overseeing financial operations for multiple companies in China, and founding YELO Consulting, which specializes in investment immigration. Mathieu also acted as a consultant for Laurentian Bank Securities, promoting investment opportunities in Canada. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Finance from HEC Montréal and a Chinese Language certification from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
