Xavier Cauchy

Xavier Cauchy, ing., Ph.D., MBA, is a seasoned professional in the fields of investment, technology, and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Investment Advisor in Venture Capital at Investissement Québec since June 2023. Previously held positions include Project Manager for Science & Technology at Axelys and R&D Engineer at Tekna, where contributions focused on advancing additive manufacturing and nanomaterials. Cauchy co-founded ORA-sound, which specializes in graphene-based nanomaterials for audio applications, and worked as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at TandemLaunch, facilitating the commercialization of early-stage technologies. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from prominent institutions such as Polytechnique Montréal and Université Laval.
