Frank Yuen, CFA, CPA, FMVA

Frank Yuen, CFA, CPA, FMVA has extensive experience in the finance industry. Frank began their career in 2006 as a Financial Analyst at Canaccord Financial Inc. Frank then moved to roles as a Financial Accountant, Bank Reconciliation Accountant, and Treasury Operation Assistant. In 2014, they joined QTRADE FINANCIAL GROUP as an Assistant Controller. In 2018, they moved to Central 1 Credit Union as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Finance at InvestX Capital.

Frank Yuen, CFA, CPA, FMVA obtained their Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Economics (Hons) from Simon Fraser University between 2000 and 2005. In 2011, they obtained the Canadian Securities Institute's Chief Financial Officer Qualifying Examination (CFO). In 2005, they obtained the Canadian Securities Course (CSC\u00ae) from the Canadian Securities Institute. In 2019, they obtained the Strategic Management Certificate from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). In 2018, they obtained the Business Analytics with Excel! certificate from Simplilearn and the Tableau 10! certificate from Simplilearn in the same year. In 2022, they obtained the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst certification from the Corporate Finance Institute, the Series 27 exam \u2014 the Financial and Operations Principal Qualification Exam from FINRA, and the Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Examination (CCO) from the Canadian Securities Institute. Frank is also a CFA Charterholder, a Certified General Accountant, a holder of the CICA In-Depth Brokers and Investment Dealer Course, a holder of the Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course from IFSE Institute, a holder of the Controllership Program Certificate from CPABC, and a holder of the IFRS Certifcate Program from AICPA.
