Mia Maric is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Invetech since September 2025, following a tenure at Micro-X from June 2020 to September 2025, where contributions included the development of a novel mobile CT system for stroke diagnosis and a curved x-ray detector. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Micro-X, Mia played a key role in developing correction algorithms for the mobile CT project, which was integral to securing an $8 million grant from the Federal Government's Medical Research Future Fund Frontier Health Program. Prior to this, Mia worked as a Biomedical Laboratory Assistant at Flinders University from September 2019 to March 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Flinders University, completed in 2022.
