Omar Ali

Omar Ali is an OT Cybersecurity Engineer and Solution Architect specializing in governance, risk management, and vulnerability assessment in both operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments. Currently, Omar works at Invictux, where they engage in projects across the MENA region, conduct risk assessments, and manage vulnerability assessments. Previously, they contributed as a SOC Analyst at Inovasys, gaining experience in blue teaming and threat detection. Omar also served as a Course Representative for a Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking program at The Knowledge Hub Universities, bridging communication between students and faculty. They hold a BSc in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking from Coventry University, with prior educational experiences in Computer Science and Engineering.
