Miltiadis Siavvas

Miltiadis Siavvas is a highly experienced professional in software security and development, currently serving as the Head of the Software Security Research and Development Group at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) since June 2016. In this role, Miltiadis leads various EU-funded projects, contributing as Technical Work Package Leader and Lead Software Engineer, while overseeing research in software security, reliability, and the application of artificial intelligence in software engineering. Miltiadis possesses a strong academic background with a Ph.D. from Imperial College London and an integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Prior experience includes work as a Research Associate focused on software project development and an internship at EPSILON NET. Miltiadis has authored numerous scientific publications and provides mentorship to junior developers and research scientists.

Information Technologies Institute (ITI)

Information Technologies Institute (ITI) – formerly known as Informatics and Telematics Institute – is a research institute that was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organisation under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) of Greece, with its head office located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2000 it is a founding member of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) also supervised by the GSRT. CERTH/ITI is one of the leading Greek institutions in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) with long experience in numerous European and National R&D projects.
