Nimisha Saikia

Nimisha Saikia has worked in various roles in the graphic design and animation industry since 2008. Nimisha began their career as an Intern at STUDIO EEKSAURUS PRODUCTIONS PVT. LTD. in 2008, where they helped with pre-production for a set of ads for Virgin Mobile and made the first set of animated ads for Tata Docomo's launch in India. In 2011, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Ad2Pro Media Solutions Private Limited, where they worked on several projects involving story-boarding for web ads and art direction and illustration for children's apps. Nimisha also conducted training modules covering topics such as visual heirarchy, color balance and storyboarding. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Self Employed Graphic Designer and Founder, where they took up freelance projects related to branding, illustration, merchandise, infographics and other aspects of design. Nimisha then worked as a Visual Designer at DoSelect from 2016 to 2018, followed by Senior Graphic Designer at Smartron from 2018 to 2019. Nimisha currently works as an Art Director at InVideo since 2020.

Nimisha Saikia attended the National Institute of Design from 2006 to 2010, where they earned an Anima in Animation and Film Design. Nimisha also attended Assam Valley School from 1997 to 2005, where they earned an Arts and Humanities degree in Arts & Humanities.
