Michael Tack

Michael Tack's work experience starts in 2009 when they had a summer internship at RMB Private Bank. In 2012, they worked as a Junior Engineer at Innovative Industries for a short period. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Engineering Intern at Lovemore Bros. Starting in 2017, Michael joined Africa Merchant Capital, where they completed an internship focusing on Corporate Finance Advisory and Trade Finance divisions. Michael conducted due diligence work and developed pitch materials for projects in the telecoms and solar sectors. Michael also assessed profitability and risks associated with providing trade finance to SME exporters. In 2017, they joined Partners Capital as an Associate and later worked as a Senior Associate from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they took on the role of CFO at Invigorate Platform. Finally, since 2020, Michael has been working at Y TREE, initially as a Client Service Analyst and currently as a Trading & Operations Manager.

Michael Tack's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Hilton College and obtained a Matric Exemption, although the specific field of study is unknown. In 2008, they participated in a School Exchange Program at Woodberry Forest School. From 2011 to 2014, Michael studied at Stellenbosch University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance with Risk Management at the University of Bath.
