Rajia Abdelaziz

CEO and Co-Founder of invisaWear at invisaWear

Rajia Abdelaziz has a diverse work experience. Since 2016, they have been serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of invisaWear, a company focused on developing products that empower individuals to feel safe and connected. Prior to this, Rajia gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon Robotics in 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they held the position of President at the Society of Women Engineers, leading a team of officers to execute events and secure funding. Simultaneously, they worked as the Vice President at IEEE, where they helped revive the chapter and increased membership through active recruitment. Additionally, Rajia has worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Plexxi Inc. in 2014 and as the Head of Android and IOS Team at Engaging Computing Group from 2013 to 2014. Before entering the tech industry, they also gained management experience as a Manager at Dairy Queen from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, Rajia held the position of Women in Manufacturing Intern at BAE Systems.

Rajia Abdelaziz attended Nashua High School North from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2012 to 2016. During this period, they pursued a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Rajia then returned to education in 2021 and studied at Harvard Business School for a year, focusing on Business, although they did not obtain a specific degree.
