Arash Mohtat

Arash Mohtat is a Product Line Architect at Invision AI. Arash was previously an Autonomous Controls Engineer at General Motors from April 2017 to April 2020. There, they developed algorithms and software for Camera-LiDAR alignment (during vehicle mission) and extrinsic calibration (at the service hub) using deep learning (Python, tensorflow, Keras). Arash also developed algorithms/software for simulation, validation and intrinsic calibration of LiDARs via ray tracing and pointcloud & diagnostics data analytics (Python, OpenCV, ROS). In addition, Arash led system engineering and tech insertion projects in the Vehicle Health Management domain that requires coordinating with multiple teams, managing change requests and requirement development; and, meeting several deadlines in the global vehicle development process.

Arash Mohtat has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran.
