Prior to this, Richard held the position of Senior Research Associate at Dupont from January 1981 to May 2004. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science and PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University, completed between 1976 and 1981, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University at Albany and The State University of New York, earned in 1975.
