Candace (Candy) Houston, CPIM, CSCP has extensive experience in the supply chain and operations field. Candace (Candy) began their career in 1997 as an Industrial Engineering Intern for General Motors. The following year they held a similar role as an Industrial Engineering Intern for Walt Disney World. In 1999, they joined Acuity Brands Lighting as an Operations Research Analyst, Standard. Candace (Candy) was promoted to Senior Operations Research Analyst in the same year and Lead Operations Research Analyst in 2000. In 2009, they began working for Nordson Corporation as a Senior Material Planner. Here they were a team leader for Value Stream Mapping for kits product family and actively managed availability of material during an increase in business. In 2011, they joined Invistics as a Senior Lean Consultant and Director of Controlled Substances Customer Success & Implementation. In this role, they assisted customers with process improvement projects, typically focusing in areas that impact Supply Chain, including transportation management, forecasting, and allocation of constrained material & capacity.

Candace (Candy) Houston earned their Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (BIE) and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1999. In 2006, they obtained their CPIM certification from APICS. In 2016, they obtained their CSCP certification from APICS.
