Ty Richards

Ty Richards has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, Ty worked with The Detroit Pistons as a Mascot & Game Operations Intern, and later became the Interim Mascot "Hooper." From 2011 to 2013, Ty was also Director of the Sparty Mascot Program at Michigan State University, while also holding positions as a Spirit Squad Intern and Student Administrative Intern.

Ty then transitioned to the Michigan State University Athletic Department, working as an Event Manager from 2013 to 2016. Following this, Ty joined the Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA) as an Event Coordinator from 2016 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2021, Ty served as the Private Event Services Manager at Olympia Entertainment - Detroit Red Wings. Ty then moved on to Forte Belanger in 2021 as the Associate Director of Sales until 2022.

Currently, in 2022, Ty is working as the Senior Manager of Account Services at INVNT®. Throughout Ty's career, they have gained valuable experience in event coordination, sales, account management, and mascot management.

Ty Richards completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sports Administration - Event Management from Michigan State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Kinesiology, Sports Administration, and Coaching from the same university from 2009 to 2013. Ty does not have any additional certifications listed.
