James Buehring

James Buehring has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. James is currently a Senior Principal Engineer at Invoca since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DialogTech for several roles including Distinguished Architect from April 2018 to May 2021, Senior DevOps Architect from March 2016 to March 2018, and Senior Software Engineer from October 2012 to March 2016. James also worked as a Software Engineer at DialogTech from July 2007 to October 2012. James'sproficiency includes software development in LAMP technologies along with expertise in VoiceXML and CCXML. Before their time at DialogTech, James worked at School City Of Whiting as a Network Administrator/Assistant IT Director from July 2002 to July 2007, where they were responsible for the operation and maintenance of networking and server equipment.

James Buehring began their education by earning an Honors Diploma in high school education from School City Of Whiting, which they completed from 1985 to 1999. James then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development from Purdue University Northwest, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Following that, James attended Saint Xavier University from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Master of Arts in Computer Science (MACS) with a focus on Internet Information Systems. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: Zend Certified Engineer, PHP 5 from Zend, Inc. in 2007, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020.
