Steve Torbett

Steve Torbett has extensive experience in product management and marketing. Steve is currently working as a Product Director at InVue, where they handle product management for software solutions in the merchandising, security, and IoT industry. Prior to this, they worked at Capsa Healthcare for eight years as a Product Management professional for acute care and point-of-care products. Steve managed product line strategy, pricing, and development to improve healthcare delivery and accuracy in medication dispensing. During their time at Capsa Healthcare, they oversaw the acquisition of Rubbermaid Healthcare, Humanscale Healthcare, and Tryten Technologies.

Before joining Capsa Healthcare, Steve was a Sr Product/Brand Manager at Newell Brands, where they focused on product management and marketing for Rubbermaid Healthcare. Steve was responsible for co-inventing and launching the CareLink™ mobile nurse station, which won the 2015 Blue Diamond Award for IT innovation and business value.

Steve also has experience at Premier Inc. as the Senior Director of Product Strategy & Planning, where they held a leadership role in product strategy. Steve started their career at UPS as a Marketing Director, leading the investigation and selection process for new products.

In addition, Steve has consulting experience with AT&T Network Systems International, Verizon (NYNEX), and other clients. Steve has also worked as a Product & Product Marketing Manager at Sales Technologies and as a Senior Market Specialist at Scientific Atlanta.

Steve Torbett holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Strategy from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Steve also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of South Florida. Additionally, Steve has an Engineering in Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, awarded by the State of Florida.
