Awilda Torres, Ph.D., LMHC, CRC, and CASAC is the COAP Unit Director of ICS’s COAP Clinic. She has a doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from New York University, as well as certifications in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC). Awilda ‘s past positions have included Program Director at VIDA Family Services Program; as well as Program Director of Betance Arts. Dr. Torres has also made numerous presentations on issues of domestic violence, anxiety, and depression; and has served as a facilitator of cancer support groups.
