Marcus Ashby

Marcus Ashby has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Marcus currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at INX Software since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Treasurer at Westside Christchurch Aquatic Swimming Club starting from 2020. In the same year, they also served as a Judge for the Innovating Government Category at The Lateral INCITE Awards. From 2017 to 2021, Marcus worked as the WA State Manager at NEC Australia. Marcus founded their own company, Ashby Digital, in 2016 and served as the Founder until 2018. Before that, they held various managerial roles at Fujitsu Australia Limited from 2013-2016 and Fujitsu from 2009-2013. Marcus also worked as the Sales Director at KAZ from 2006-2009 and as a Managed Services Executive at Telstra from 2005-2006. Marcus began their career as a Business Development Manager at Perth iX from 2001-2003.

Marcus Ashby attended Edith Cowan University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended Scotch College Perth from 1983 to 1991, although no degree or field of study is specified. In terms of certifications, Marcus obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021, as well as the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in the same month and year.
