Joshua Shaw

Joshua Shaw has extensive work experience in the field of recruitment and engineering. Joshua started their career as a Sales Consultant at Comet in 2008 and later worked as a Charity Fundraiser at Future Fundraising in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Huxley Engineering, where they held the positions of Senior Consultant and Engineering Specialist Recruitment Consultant, specializing in Automation & Control and Permanent hires.

In 2016, Shaw joined PRG Precision Resource Group as a Business Manager and became involved with its subsidiary, iO Associates, where they held various roles. Joshua served as a Senior Associate from 2016 to 2019, contributing to the recruitment of top talent in the engineering field. Joshua subsequently became a Business Manager, focusing on R&D sectors within Mechanical, Firmware, and EC&I Technologies. Shaw then became a Recruitment Specialist for EC&I engineers before being promoted to Lead Business Manager, where they managed the UK Permanent and Contract Teams and provided a client-centric approach for technical recruitment.

Currently, Shaw holds the position of Director of UK Engineering at iO Associates, where they continue to lead and manage the UK Engineering team.

From 2009 to 2012, Joshua Shaw attended Solent University, where they pursued a degree in Marketing with Psychology.
