Hiren Kasekar is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, specializing in both conventional and renewable energy solutions. As a Senior Principal Consultant at io consulting since September 2018, Hiren has focused on delivering strategic consultancy in energy projects. Prior roles include Principal Consultant in Development Engineering at Bilfinger Tebodin, with responsibilities in concept studies and process safety evaluations, and Senior Process Engineer at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, where Hiren managed surface facilities development and project economic analysis. Earlier experiences include positions at Aker Solutions and Koch Glitsch India, where Hiren honed expertise in process engineering and design. Hiren holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Master's in Business Analytics & Consultancy from Edinburgh Business School.

Formed as a JV between Baker Hughes and McDermott with the mission to work in the early front end of projects, bringing our specific techno-economic expertise integrated with the access to technology and execution know-how of our parents and partner organisations.
