James Preston

James Preston is an experienced Study Manager and Principal Consultant in Development Engineering, currently with io consulting since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Consultant in an independent capacity, Front End LNG/Gas Processing Technology specialist at Aker Solutions, and various positions at Advisian encompassing Study Manager and Principal Process Engineer. James also served as a Senior Process Engineer at Bechtel and a Process Engineer at Costain Oil, Gas & Process Ltd. Early career roles included trainee engineering positions at Aracruz Celulose and Fibria, with an internship at ICI Technology. James holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Science, specializing in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Oxford, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
