Gabriel Gonzalez

Gabriel Gonzalez has extensive experience in hardware security, embedded systems, reverse engineering, and source code review. Gabriel worked as the Director of Hardware Security at IOActive, Inc. from August 2020 to present, where they focused on identifying critical vulnerabilities in automotive systems. Prior to that, Gabriel worked as the Principal Security Consultant at IOActive, Inc. from August 2015 to August 2020.

Before joining IOActive, Inc., Gabriel worked at Intelligent R&D as the Principal Embedded Software & Security Engineer from April 2011 to August 2015. In this role, they developed real-time systems on Linux, BSD, and QNX platforms and worked on complex software solutions and cloud infrastructures.

Gabriel was also the Co-Founder and R&D Engineer at Wintercore from 2008 to January 2012, where they conducted security assessments of software applications and hardware devices and developed an anti-phishing solution. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IronGate S.L. from 2006 to September 2010, designing services for internet gateways and managing projects.
