Bruno Amaro Almeida

Bruno Amaro Almeida serves as VP of IT Operations and Head of Technology & Architecture at Fortum since January 2021. In addition, Bruno is an Advisory Board Member for Utilities and Cloud at IDC since June 2023, and a European Advisory Board Member at Fujitsu. As an Independent Consultant/Advisor since July 2013, Bruno specializes in Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Data. Other roles include Strategist/Advisor and Guest Technology Writer at IOD, Head of Architecture/Principal Architect & Advisor at Futurice from January 2019 to January 2021, and various management positions at F-Secure Corporation from February 2012 to December 2018. As the founder of cubiX from January 2003 to July 2013, Bruno has extensive experience in technology and engineering, underscored by a Master's degree in Engineering – Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra.
