Alen Uglik

Alen Uglik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alen is currently working as a Software Engineer at iOLAP since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Engineer - Python at iOLAP from October 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining iOLAP, Alen worked as a Junior Python Developer at Notus IT d.o.o. from May 2019 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for customizing and improving existing systems to meet the company's requirements.

Earlier in their career, Alen worked as a Sales Coordinator at O.P.M LIMITED from October 2017 to May 2018. Alen played a vital role in maintaining sales and acquiring new customers, while also introducing new product ranges to existing customers.

Alen Uglik began their education in 2009 at EDUNOVA – Computer science school in Osijek, Croatia, where they obtained a degree in Web administration. In 2010, they enrolled in the Business Computer Training Institute (BCT) in Dublin, Ireland, and earned a degree in English for Business in 2011.

In 2017, Alen pursued their education at Griffith College Dublin and completed a degree in Online Marketing and Digital Strategy in 2018.

In the same year, they attended Centar Tehničke Kulture in Rijeka, Croatia, and achieved a degree in Junior Development with a focus on computer programming. Additionally, Alen participated in freeCodeCamp's web development program, specializing in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
