Chad Burch has over 27 years of work experience in the U.S. Army. Chad began their career in 1993 as an Infantryman for the 82nd Airborne Division. In 2002, they were a Mutlichannel Transmission / Small Extention Node Chief for the US Army. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as an Information Technology Specialist/Systems Administrator for the U.S. Army Intelligence Center. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Senior Data Systems Integrator for the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). From 2015 to 2019, they were a Senior Incident Handler and Cyber Operations Chief for U.S. Army Cyber Command. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Cyber Warfare Analyst for Metova Federal. Currently, they are a Security Operations Center Analyst for IOMAXIS.

Chad Burch earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2018 and 2020. Chad also earned an Associate's degree in Technology, General from Pierce College from 2012 to 2013. Burch has also obtained several certifications, including Splunk Core Certified Power User and Splunk Core Certified User from Splunk in June 2022, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC Certifications in July 2015, GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from GIAC Certifications in June 2015, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications in May 2015, GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from GIAC Certifications in December 2016, GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) from GIAC Certifications in November 2016, and GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) from GIAC Certifications in October 2016.
