Colby Steele

Colby Steele has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Training Coordinator at Texas Roadhouse, where they provided in-depth training to new and current employees, creating specialized training programs for various kitchen positions. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Maintenance Technician at Winchester Building Supply Co and was responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment. In 2017, Colby joined C2 Management as an Electrical Technician, where they tested and listed electrical, medical, and scientific equipment for sale or recycling. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Service Desk Technician at General Dynamics Information Technology. In 2019, they joined Super Systems Inc as a Field Service Technician, resolving desktop and laptop issues for customers. Colby then transitioned to Perspecta in 2020 as a Premier Technical Engineer until 2020, before moving to 22nd Century Technologies Inc. as a Senior System Engineering until 2023. Currently, they are a Cyber Security Specialist at MAXISIQ, starting in March 2023.

Colby Steele obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Systems Technology from Laurel Ridge Community College, attending from 2013 to 2017. Colby then pursued further education at George Mason University from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. In July 2018, Colby obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA.
