Janair Williams Jr. has extensive experience in the field of Information Systems Security. Janair began their career in 1999 as a Security Forces Member for the United States Air Force, where they conducted immediate visual assessment for alarm activations, ensured internal circulation control requirements, and conducted sweeps and provided escort. In 2004, they were promoted to Operations Manager, Mission Support Branch, where they led personnel in daily operations of 9 wing-level programs supporting IT systems. Janair then moved to Senior System Administrator and Project Management Supervisor roles. In 2019, they joined Phacil, Inc. as an Information Systems Auditor, where they supported security assessment of departmental systems using best practice techniques and manual/automated verification scans against defined component baselines. In 2020, they joined New River Systems as an Information System Security Officer/Help Desk, where they gathered information/responded to security incidents/spillages and reported to proper agency. Currently, they are working as an Information System Security Officer for IOMAXIS, where they are managing site security program by coordinating site assessments/maintenance windows, working with IT leads to implement security controls, and creating security procedures.

Janair Williams Jr. has obtained two Associate of Applied Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, one in Information Technology and one in Criminal Justice/Police Science. Janair has also obtained four certifications: IT Security Career Paths and Certifications from Lynda.com in February 2017, ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2016, Security+ from CompTIA in September 2009, and Security+ ce from CompTIA in May 2019.
